Members of Local 701 have access to a variety of benefits. In addition to healthcare and training they include the following items.
IUOE Local 701 members are able to join our very own credit union. OE Federal provides free checking and savings accounts, VISA card programs and competitive loans and CD rates. Come visit the credit union’s local branch in Gladstone, Oregon – near the union hall.
Active, dues paying, members may be eligible for a death benefit payment. The schedule for the benefit amount depends on length of membership with Local 701 and is listed below. Your Local 701 Death Benefit is not valid if your dues are more than 30 days in arrears.
- Up to 1 year = $500
- After 1 year = $1,000
- After 3 years = $2,000
- After 5 years = $5,000
- After 10 years = $10,000
Retired members of Local 701 may be eligible for a $2000 death benefit.
